Craig Parks & Recreation Department is seeking community input for proposed playground improvements at City Park in 2022!  (Playground north of the swimming complex).  We are asking that you fill out a brief survey that will assist us in planning and designing the new playground at City Park next year.  Survey is open until Friday, September 24.

*Do you want to Head Coach your child's team?  Volunteer coaches are at the heart of what we do and how our programs run.  If you are interested in Head Coaching please register in person at Craig Municipal Building, 300 W. 4th Street to receive 1/2 off your child's registration!  

*Do we offer child Scholarships?  How do children qualify?  Scholarships are available to community youth who's parents hold a Colorado Quest Card or Colorado EBT Card.  You must register your child in person to receive the Scholarship.

Parks and Recreation aims to embody our mission by offering programs that serve the community through all stages of life, including youth sports, adult sports, travel for active older adults, community education, and events.  Our team also oversees 19 acres of open space, 44 acres of developed city parks, as well as the swimming complex. Additionally, Parks and Recreation hosts the annual Whittle the Wood Rendezvous, featuring live music, vendors, food, beer, and of course, wood carving. Our innovative and community driven staff are always looking for new ways to serve the residents of Craig and the surrounding areas.
